It is a great honour to be introducing Awesome Books Asia to India. On 23 September, the closing day of AI NEXUS 2026 (21–23 September), our website relaunch event will mark a new beginning in learning and connection.

A NEW CHAPTER
Ahead of a new encounter
Awesome Books Asia is about to take part in something we value greatly: introducing our publishing house to India. To be able to share what we stand for — our ideas about learning and about books — with people whose languages and backgrounds differ from our own is a real honour.
Alongside this encounter, we will be holding the Awesome Books Asia website relaunch event on 23 September 2026. Being able to unveil the new site at the same moment as we say hello in India makes this a particularly meaningful start.
21—23 SEPTEMBER
Japan and India, meeting through learning
‘JAPAN MEETS INDIA — AI NEXUS 2026’ is a three-day AI literacy programme running from 21 to 23 September at Acharya Campus in India. Faculty, researchers, administrative staff and students will come together to examine what learning, and what possibility, look like in the age of AI.
With that meeting of minds ahead of us, Awesome Books Asia is preparing its own story to tell. To cross languages and borders, to meet someone's very first question and to join a new conversation — we are grateful for the chance, and we are looking forward to it.
OUR PUBLISHING VISION
Publishing that stays open to the beginner
We would rather the wish to learn something new was not brought to a halt by unfamiliar words and impenetrable explanations. Making a path along which a complete beginner can read at their own pace, ask questions and reach their own judgements: that is the direction Awesome Books Asia wants to keep following through the books it publishes.
This chance to introduce our publishing house in India comes from the same place. Rather than handing over our answers one way, we hope this will be a meeting where questions arising from very different starting points come together, and where we think about the possibilities of learning side by side.

A relaunched website, a new conversation
On 23 September, the closing day of the programme, we will hold the Awesome Books Asia website relaunch event. We are preparing it as a fresh start: a place to bring readers news from the publishing house and the stories we care about.
Awesome Books Asia wants to share the questions about learning that run through daily life — children's education in the age of AI, AI and the everyday, sport, the economy. With the relaunch, we will widen the points at which we can meet our readers.
